Not worth it. The lady at the ticket office is quite rude, speaks no English and tricks you into buying extra stuff.
They try all their best to show moldovan heritage, if you visit cisinao dont miss this place
Very affordable and fascinating destination. You can learn about thus country here. Not as polished as other museums I have visited, but definitely worth a visit.
Close to all the official buildings of the country, it is a good place to see the history of the country. It is a little poor and not very well equipped. It probably needs a good renovation. It is not very populated, very few people were in it when we visited. I prefer the national museum of ethnography over this one.
good spacious museum. mostly portraying moldovan history in a very traditional manner.
Excellent place to visit. I found it funny you have to pay to take pictures but really it is very reasonable price for admission.
This place is Fantastic.
Went to here b4 Wales Won 2- 0 vs Moldova in Football.
And i got to know alot about all the History of this Lovely Country.
The building is very nice and there are many things on display, which are quite interesting. The museum lacks however any sort of a concept and no audio guide or written guide is available who would tell you the background or the history. You come to a room and see excavated vases with description vase or a room full of clocks with descruption standing clock. This is what I missed the most and did not learn much about their history as a result. The admission fee is 1 eur + 0.75 eur for taking pictures.
It s being renovated now. Some good stuff and finding are there. Recommend to visit
10 lei for permanent and another 10 for temporary exhibitions, plus 15 if you want to take pictures, nice place to visit.
I liked the place very much. I liked the most the prehistoric part of the exibition, it's wll organized and informative.
Nice museum, clean, quiet, smaller than I expected. Very reasonable admission fee. The only negative - staff is there to guard and bout at all knowledgeable nor helpful. You are pretty much on your own when trying to figure out what it says on a plaque 30 feet from you because the area is roped up. Mild rudeness or full indifference are also common. But, overall it is not too bad.
Lovely place and rich exhibition of Moldavian History artifacts :)
Some nice locations, but pure collection. The museum is ok for Moldova.
Visited this Museum twice in my life and still feel like want to go again. So many interesting and rare things to see here. Very large beautifully arranged rooms. This is a must visit place in Chisinau.
Fantastic collections located into a single museum (Guns, Numismatic, Old books, Philately, and many more).
An absolutely fantastic museum, charting Moldova from pre-history to the present day. All exhibits are clearly and intelligently labelled in English. I would rate it as one of the best national museums in Europe, and you're likely to have it almost to yourself!
Great collection. Temporary exhibitions are held on the first floor. Entrance fee 10 MDL. Free WiFi. Guided tours in English 100 lei per person (5 persons minimum). Other languages are available.
