The place looks comfy, it hass a decent variety of drinks and coctails, but it's dead on weekdays. Stopped here Thursday april 12, and it is completely dead, only one table occupied, checked back an hour later (from across the street) it looked completely empty. It's definitely not an experience (although I was contemplating about coming in) I would look for, just being at the only table in the whole place (with a friend), it's just a little depressing, so we passed. Weekend on the other hand could be a different experience, but I will have to update on that. So far, not impressed.
Likes - Theme, variety of choice, location

Comfy place, good food and a lot of drinks, including cocktails. Separate space for smokers, live music and tables for big companies. Reasonable prices. Good choice.

I will start by saying that this is not my type of restaurant. That is why my opinion might be somewhat subjective.
It is a pretty formal place, where people come dressed up and stuff.
I didn't really enjoy the service, it seemed distant and unwelcoming. No one who works there smiles, or at least I haven't seen anyone smile.
I had a steak, the meat was well prepared, but it lacked any flavor, it felt like they didn't put any condiments in it.
It is an expensive place compared to other places in Chisinau.response / report this review -

Jack's is a fun place especially on Friday and Saturday nights with live music followed by good deejays. Large menu of grilled items for lunch and dinner.

One of the best burguers in moldova. Will be in my top 5 if they bring me rare meat next time. Also and advice for the owner , please put any letter in the WC to avoid misunderstandings for the people who dont know russian ;)

Nella mia esperienza di consumatore di carne e stato il locale peggiore della mia vita. Dopo avermi servito una bistecca a mio dire riciclata e riscaldata la cottura medium che ho esplicitamente richiesto è andata a quel paese perché era stracotta e quando l'ho fatto notare al cameriere egli non ha battuto ciglio e se ne fregato altamente..
Locale carino, pessima cucina, servizio non all'altezza.

On ne m'a pas laissé entrer, me jugeant ivre alors que je n'avais rien bu et surtout bien habillé, et que c'était le premier endroit que j'allais, ma premiere sortie en Moldavie. L'endroit avais l'air très sympathique, j'espère que la prochaine fois que je passerai je pourrai profiter de l'établissement.
