If you want to travel back to the socialistic erathis is the right hotel for you. You have to choose breakfast one day before and they have 3 menues. If you don't try you'll never know how it looks like traveling back in the past.

Not a great place to stay, things are pretty much terrible here, if you want to have a great time in Chisinau you should avoid this bad communist hotel

Terrible. Rejected 2 rooms for no air conditioning and no Wifi signal. 3rd room was just okay. Breakfast almost inedible. Scrambled eggs seem a mystery to the kitchen. Dining room in a dark, roughly rock-hewn chamber, painted black, with harsh LED lighting that suggested a role as a former interrogation room. Unfriendly maitre 'd, who, when I asked for a 2nd cup of coffee, barked out "1 breakfast, 1 coffee!". I think this must have been some kind of Soviet hotel, in the past, but they forgot that the wall fell and the early 1990s are long gone. Never again.

very kind and helpful staff, good character hotel very entertaining! amazing value for money I recommend paying extra for the suite it is most definitely worth it!

Soviet-style hotel in a nice location. Room was well let's say you get what you pay for :-) Breakfast was a bit dull, but not too bad. Hotel offered taxi to/from airport for 5€/oneway.

It's not five star fancy but it's packed with character. It feels like you've stepped back in time into soviet Russia. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing quality wise but hey, what are you gunna do for 30 euros a night. Location was ok. Close enough to everything you'd want to see. Free parking. Internet was decent throughout the hotel. Stay here for a cheap stay and an authentic feel. Tatty warn but clean and comfort.
