Beautiful, very nice people and ambient, food traditional and made with care - loved every minute of the stay in spite of a thunderstorm and following power outage.

Very nice family house by the river with great autentic food and lovely garden! However, I was very very disappointed when I saw one of the workers dumping into the the river about 20kg of plastic that covered the roof. This is inadmissible and the owners should be responsible of the people that work for them.

Me and my wife have visited Casa din Lunca for 10 days some time ago. Not only is it in a lovely place on a side river of Djnjestr river inviting guests to extensive walks in the Orhei Vechi region. The Benzin family, Casa din Lunca's owners are very hospitable and Mrs Benzin the senior is a fantastic cook, together with her maids she keeps Casa din Lunca a great home for her guests. Very recommendable and with Adrians help as a driver - guide also a good base for excursions in Bessarabia.The area is of great political importance and could unfortunately become an area of conflict for its strategical importance. A visit to the monasteries is very interesting and the home vitified wine of the Benzin family a good reason to come home to the Casa din Lunca in the evening also as a mullet to warm heart and soul over the national dish Mamaliga.
