This house-museum preserves where Pushkin lived for 2.5 months in Chisinau before moving to a hotel that no longer exists. Here he wrote Evgheniy Onegin and other famous Russian works of literature.

It has very rich collection. You can learn a lot about A. Puškin. In every room there is also description of room in english. But still i've missed english names and description of each exponant. The price is very low.

Great - but only if you bring your imagination with you. There's not much here in English, so you might want to find a good translator; the woman who was working here when I paid a visit spoke Russian and German pretty well, but no English. And the location itself is hard to find, the house being tucked away among some blocks of flats. By Chisinau standards it's still well worth a visit.

Sacred place if you ever read Eugene Onegin. Puskin started to write it here. He lived here in exile 1821- 1823.
