The Palace is really beautiful inside and the view from the outside is wonderful. Photos are not allowed to be clicked inside the palace. They provide an audio guide while viewing it inside.
There is a guard exchange that takes place around 12PM and people can watch this.
The lanes opposite to the palace have lot of shops for food and other fun shopping🛍
The views are beautiful. The exterior and interior are awesome, some people stop by to see the exterior of the building.
and some visit for inside view. Palace features changing of the guard daily at 11.55 a.m, and its worth seeing. Here prices of Monaco resides centuries ago.
Imposing structure where Prince of Monaco resides. Changing of guard is worth watching if you are in area. Many of the small streets and alleys leading to palace have coffee shops, restaurants and shops for browsing. Great places to be in.
So glamorous, so Grace Kelly, I felt like a queen visiting here. Guards wear very smart uniforms, they all look like prince charming. Adorable
The Palace itself maybe isn't quite as grand (at least on the outside, we didn't get see the inside) as many others around Europe, but it's still well worth a visit. Primarily because it's situated right near a small old-town area full of eateries and souvenir shops (as well as actual residences and other building on interest, like an old.court house) and the views from the palace hill over the bays of Monaco are pretty spectacular.
Very underwhelming. Honestly, if it weren't so close to the gorgeous aquarium (that has awesome views at the top), I wouldn't even bother coming here. It looks like a fake castle at a Disneyland. Every 15 minutes or so you'll hear frantic parents telling their kids to come back because they've crossed the perimeter where the guards are watching. That's entertaining for like a minute.
Amazing Palace and history specially since it belongs to one family almost 1000 years ago.
take the bus since the walk uphill is long.
Breath taking view of the Monaco famous Marina.
the palace is guarded by security walking outside its main doors.
walked along the small little shop houses lovely good shops and restaurants with good prices.much recommended to visit if in Monaco.
Amazing place to visit. City is very cute and has amazing view of downtown. Make sure you visit the gardens, amazing photo opportunities.
Close to the old town in Monaco this is a refreshing place in the midst of the noise and crowdy places "downtown" - very nice! Walk around the cape and go down through the Fort Antoine in Port Monaco, and to the newly built "stairs" outside the port. Great place to chill
An interesting place. Not a palace in the grand sense but worth a look. There are only so many rooms you can see and they are worth your time. Make sure you are outside for the changing of the guard. If I remember correctly it is around 12:30 daily. Location wise it has it all, views of the mountains overlooking Monaco and the harbour.
A great place to learn some of Monaco's history. The palace is beautiful. The visit is short with regard to its price. Try to buy a combo with the Monaco Top Car Collection.
Did a walk up instead of the HOHO buses. Breath taking view of the Monaco famous Marina.
Did not enter the Palace but spend a lot of time along the small little shop houses and a very good meal outside the palace. At a very reasonable price..
A must visit if in Monaco.
Amazing building and area. Free audio tour with entry (€5). Not a very long tour (still good for the price) but the parts you do get to see are lovely with lots of historic pieces on display.
Beautiful view over the harbour. You can park your for free (1 hour) in the parking place of commercial center and walk up the o. The harbour side
Great view! 4 stars because you only see a few rooms of palace. Views of Monaco are fantastic!
Well maintained. High security. Safe for kids too. Very clean and tidy. Staff is strict.
Great view to the city and the port. Nice local shops and restaurants around the palace. You can get there either walking up from the train station or better just take a bus from the city's transportation system.
Beautiful palais. Just a little too crowded.
Changing of the guards at 1155 a.m. daily. Got to see this in 1994 and in 2017 - still the same. ;-)
A must see.
The Palace is beautiful but the audio guides that they give you are out of date, really. You have to hold them by your ear and you have no choice of speeding it up. Also, be careful not to wear anything too revealing or you might not be allowed to enter. Filming is prohibited inside.
Yes, a must visit for every tourist.
While going upstairs, you get to see the beautiful view of Monaco harbour.
The famous Yacht race is conducted here.
Neat palace. In my opinion is the view over the city more impressing however.
Really interesting tour, and we only paid 50c on top of the price of our student tickets to the oceanographic museum down the road for access. There is a complementary audio - tour around the palace available in multiple languages, and the building itself is amazing to see. There is just so much wealth contained inside the walls of this palace, it really is a sight to behold. Unfortunately no photos are allowed inside, so keep an eye out for the Eagle sculpture made entirely from crystals!
While visiting the aquarium they asked us if we wanted to visit it just adding 50 cents more. We accepted and the visit in this palace was great. A lot of things to see and the audio guide explain a lot of information.
If you are lucky you can also see the change of the guard which is beatiful to see.
Very nice tour of the castle but rather short. I understand that it is an active residence, but from the outside I have to admit that I would have expected the tour to last longer.
Other than that, the explanation headset is very good, giving loads of information. The only downside is that you can't take any pictures while inside the palace.
