Nice lived up to its expectation, Obviance was great, met some good people, Peking Duck was awesome, but the drinks were not as strong as the other restaurants we visited. A must visit while in Monaco

Very nice place, staff is friendly and helpful. We tried only drinks and shrimps for entrance but it was good. Drinks also nice. The best is atmosphere and interior design. I guess it gets much more interesting at midnight.

I really like this place, the atmosphere is chic, the food delicious, service is fast and friendly. After dinner you can hit the bar downstairs or outside at the terrace. Ask for a hookah to enjoy the view and the cool buddha bar music

We came to Buddha Bar consecutively three nights for dinner. Food is great unfortuneately the management of the outdoor lounge is very poorly executed. Day 1, we went for dinner and asked to sit outside to smoke. Lady at reception. Receptionist said have dinner first and let your waitress know at end of your meal. End of meal on asking waitress she said let me ask manager. On asking manager she said he says it is full. But on walking out, i could see even though it was busy due to Sunday night, there were still quite some tables free and many people leaving. So i asked receptionist again, and she said let me get manager to talk to you. Manager came to us and said sorry 2 hours wait. Then we said thats ok we will wait in lounge and have drinks. He said thats your wish, but might be longer than 2 hours. I said can you put us on waiting list? He said there is no waiting list. I said then can we make a seperate reservation? He said no reservstion for lounges. I said can u give us one of the free tables i can see in front of us? He said IT IS RESERVED. I said how is it reserved if u have no reservations list of waiting list, and how do you know i have to wait for more than 2 hours? He said sorry I cant tell.

Day 2, exactly same thing happened. We came for dinner with a dinner reservation, receptionist said talk to waitress end of meal, waitress said talk to manager. We waited to talk to manager outside (most seats empty due to Monday) and heard him in another conversation with two girls. The two girls said they just had dinner and need to have sheesha, they asked for a table, and he said 20 minutes wait. Then manager came to us. We said we had dinner and were waiting for a table outside just like yesterday.he said sorry 2 hours wait could be longer.

Day 3 same exact thing happened. Today however at end of meal receptionist said manager is not there, i will call him. She called him and after talking to him she said sorry busy 2 hours wait. We said outside is quite empty. She said sorry manager says full. I said put us on waiting list. She said no waiting list. Then i said can we reserve a seat outside for later? She said no reservations. I said this has happened three nights in a row and what you say makes no sense. She said I KNOW BUT ONLY MANAGER MAKES DECISIONS AND WE STAFF HAVE NO IDEA ON WHAY BASIS HE DOES THIS.

ARE YOU GUYS FOR REAL?

I have been to so many bars and restaurants and lounges all over the world in very reputable places and this has neber happened before. You should be ashamed and embaressed as this is the worst Buddha Bar ever. All other buddha bars all over the world are amazing. Learn something from Jimmyz nightclub. It is the most exotic nightclub in the world only a walking distance away. They gave us table for 4 nights consecutively for sheesha and drinks even though they were genuinely full and even had royalty come in on Saturday. Their manager is so professional and amazing. You should immediately replace your manager at Buddha Bar as he is extremely disrespectful, under qualified, inexperienced and incapable of holding a reputable brand name. We experienced below par customer service and never expected such behaviour from buddha bar that too in Monaco. Being a food blogger i put in a great review for the food but customer experience is worst in my history of Europes best best bars.

In tripadvisor i can see 29 bad reviews and around poor service in courtyard. Many complained that it was class based service and they were dressed badly. However we were dressed in Gucci so that should not a reason to reject us. In our 7 day stay we never saw a brown couple sitting outside. So was this distinction made on colour. Please give us direct answer as all answers i can see on tripadvisor are generic responses.

Also we can give you invoices for all three nights dinner. Anyone else try walking in you will be left puzzed with the million dollar rocket science question of why 2 hours wait with no waiting list and no reservations list with a 60 percent empty lounge?

The decor and ambience is very good. And beers for 6€ at Happy hours which ends at 8pm are good too. Post 8pm they become 8€ which is not so bad too. Didn't venture in to food so nothing to say there.

Nice decors, good music which is not too loud and ok drinks. Personally I favor the one in Budapest because the food and especially the drinks are better and cheaper.

Such a nice place to eat and have drinks in Monte-Carlo , comparing with a few other locals around is cheap, they have dj, good music, nice food, loved the sushi there, the service is ok

The setting (decor, lighting, music) is a retro-mod asian-victorian fusion, and it works really well. The Wingu Beef Rib Steak was one of the best meat dishes I've had in years, and the staff was superb. Can't recommend enough.

Been there only for drinks but the place looks very stylish and not even too expensive for the location and the crowd. Drinks are 12 Euros during happy hour with a good selection of house cocktails and Asian fusion finger food

Visually a very cool place albeit pretty touristy. On an early evening visit we were seated and sat, and sat, and sat, and sat without even a nod. Incredible even by French standards. We were just about the only people in the bar and two bartenders were feverishly polishing glasses. After 15 minutes, we left.
