A surprisingly modern hotel with a charismatic if quiet owner. We stopped in the winter and were the only guests, but the owner was kind and gave us a good price, drove us around town, and gave us dinner for free.

He has many interesting side projects to help the mountain society around the hotel.

Ein kleines Paradies am Rand des Atlas Gebirges. Der Besitzer Hafid hat einen aussergewöhnlichen Ort geschaffen, von dem man sich nur schwer trennen kann. Es ist ein Museum mit traditioneller Handwerkskunst in einem traumhaft schönen Garten umgeben von roten Hügeln. Im Garten wachsen alle Kräuter und Pflanzen Nordafrikas. Das Essen ist hervorragend und die Zimmer groß und sehr sauber. Es gibt heisse Duschen und W-lan.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuit dans cet établissement. Rien à dire, un accueil chaleureux, je vous recommande de parler avec Samir. Le petit déjeuner dans les jardins, que du bonheur.

Stayed there during a nature expedition in 2015 and loved it! The rooms were comfortable, the staff welcoming and the atmosphere relaxing. There was a pool, a large yard, and a big lounge. The main building is a modern house but in the back there is a traditional one which was an excellent place to stay on a hot day. There was also a laundry machine available for use and quality wifi.

But the main attraction was the food! Dinners were three-course meals cooked on site and all local cuisine. Meat was also plentiful, considering the price of it in Morocco. We stayed for a week and there were no repetitions.

Whether you are backpacking across the country or just looking for a quick getaway from Marrakesh, I cannot recommend this place enough, the stay was truly wonderful!
