Place to recharge your batteries, 15 minutes away from the city center but they have a chutle. This place it is away from main road and is very quiet and peaceful, the swimming pool is heated, restaurant and pool bar are expensive, rooms are clean and the stuff is very friendly.

NOT A 4*. POOR HOTEL STANDARDS AND SERVICE
After seeing the pictures for this hotel online and reading the many great reviews, I was beyond disappointed to see what I saw when we arrived at this hotel.
I had booked a 5 night stay for my boyfriend and I, and when we saw our bedroom, our face dropped. There were dead bugs on the floor, the carpet was dirty when we arrived and continued to stay dirty for the duration of our stay, as no one had bothered to hoover it. There was no mini bar or even a basic small fridge and when I decided I was going to call the reception to see if we could change rooms, we discovered that the room did not even have a telephone.
That same evening that we checked in and saw the state of our room, we went to reception to let them know that we were a little disappointed with the condition of the room and ask if we could be moved to another room to which they said "hotel is full nothing we can do about it."
So only slightly disappointed at this stage, we decided to try and put it behind us and have dinner in the hotel restaurant. I will be brief with my overview of the hotel restaurant. Drinks were good. Service was the slowest I have ever experienced in my life and I'm not even kidding. We waited over an hour before the starters arrived which were fairly tasty but not worth the wait. The main course was totally bland. No flavour whatsoever; even salt didn't help.
Now I wish the problems mentioned at the start of my review were the only things wrong with this hotel but unfortunately, the list continues and it gets worse.
I had paid for a queen bed and that's what we thought we had been given until we got into bed that night and I fell through the middle of it. That's right, our queen bed was not actually a queen bed; it was two single beds cleverly disguised as a queen bed.
Bear in mind that we checked in to the hotel in the evening when it was dark, so the next morning when it was brighter and the sun was shining, we noticed that there were large cracks in the walls. To top that off, our sink had a leak from underneath and was spewing out on to the floor. Each time we complained, none of the staff seemed to care. This is not what we expected nor was accustomed to for a 4* hotel. I've stayed in 3* hotels that were far more modern, clean and with better service than this horrible place.

Had 6 days at this beautiful oasis. Don't be fooled or concerned about the area in front of the Riad. It's a far cry from inside.
We got a suite and had booked twin beds. When we arrived in our room the sofa bed had been made up. The following day the reception said they had a surprise..a twin room. We had settled in the 1st room but we're grateful that they had tried to accommodate us.
The star were amazing and always on hand. Big thank you to Aids and the bar staff. Oh and we can't forget the 2 guys who drove the shuttle. The staff were always on hand to assist if anything was required.
This is a spa resort and I cant praise the ladies working in the spa. The prices are reasonable and the treatments amazing.
Food at the resort.lovely.
The surroundings are clean and well kept and the pool area quiet and relaxing.
If there was anything I'd change or add it would be to have a small supply of toiletries sold in the shop on site which is a great souvenir shop and the gifts are very reasonably priced.
Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back.response / report this review -

Quiet resort just outside Marrakech. Nothing to do but swim and spa. Can't go outside as it's a bit of a rough area so have to taxi to town. Even though it's nice and quiet I would still prefer somewhere else

Very sleek, calm ambient. Great pools and large rooms. I had a great stay!
The only downside is that the food was expensive so we always ate at a restaurant on the main street (like a 5 minutes walk away).response / report this review -

My son and his new wife had their wedding celebration here at la maison des oliviers. A fabulous setting for the celebration, and a great place to chill before and after. Food, service, rooms all good and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of April /start of May when the weather was very hot !☀️
Upon arrival we were greeted but then almost immediately taken for a small tour of the complex to places where we could spend more money.💰
There was no welcome drink , which in morocco's climate would have been very welcome.😓
As we were shown to the bar area around lunchtime and hungry, we decided to order some lunch.
I ordered a 🍔 and my gf an omelette🥚both extremely mediocre to bad I'm afraid!
We had a glass of sweetened orange juice each at a cost of approx £6 per glass, in a country that has millions of oranges 🍊on its trees!!
The evening meal (tagine) was tasteless and very mediocre too.😣
One evening I was even billed 100 dirham (£10)more than I ate by one of the inefficient waiters therehe even went as far as to follow me to my room to confront me with the bill! only for me to count the bill Infront of him where he conceded that his mathematical skills were not up to scratch.🏃🏾
He didn't even apologise but ran off! 🙄
Breakfast was a buffet with about 60-70% carbs(breads,cakes,pastries) and some fresh fruit, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs and extremely sweetened mint tea ☕️
Our room (603) was very clean✨, new and modern and was nicely surprised by it .😮
The only down side👎🏽 of the room was that the shower room is one of these modern type with see through Perspex so that other ppl in the room can see you naked while showering , not to everyone's taste. A fitted curtain or shutters might be an option there.🛁
This hotel is about 5 miles from the centre📍 of Marrakech so a taxi🚕 is generally needed to get there costing 25 dirham((£2.50) per person per way with the hotel or about 100/150 (£10/£15) with an outside taxi. (although all hotels I've ever stayed at have given the shuttle to the centre of town for free)
The surrounding area outside of the hotel is very run down🏚, almost like a war zone with stray sheep and rabid dogs roaming about frothing at the mouth , no convenience stores or shops to buy snack or drinks locally.
Where you can buy water and snacks🍟, the hotel staff don't like you bringing any of it into the hotel despite the outside prices being several times cheaper than the hotel .
We did bring food and drink in regardless though, since we are the ones paying for the holiday and felt it would be tantamount to being in prison if we were restricted in that way.⛏
Basically , although you might think you're getting a good and cheap deal online😃, coming to Morocco and specifically this hotel, everything else costs a lot of money and can replete your holiday budget quickly.📉😞
I gave 2 stars for the hotel room🛏 and the pool area💦 as well as the fact that it was relaxing but I just personally find that with a few attentions to detail , this hotel would be so much better if they listened🗣👂🏼 more to customer feedback.

The hotel restaurant was quite expensive for fairly mediocre food and after trying it once we decided to try outside the hotel for half the price.
Our room (603) was very clean, new and modern and was nicely surprised by it .
The only down side of the room was that the shower room is one of these modern type with see through Perspex so that other ppl in the room can see you naked while showering , not to everyone's taste. A fitted curtain or shutters might be an option there.

Being fair , the hotel is very nice in itself, clean , the breakfast is fine (carbohydrate loaded) the rooms are very nice , the pool area is clean and relaxing , the staff are generally helpful but I just personally find a few attentions to detail would make this hotel so much nicer than it already is.

We were impressed by the size & quality of the room (No 604)
One small grumble was that although we were staying 4 nights we were only given one small bar of soap until we asked for a second one. That seems like penny pinching.
Our other complaint was that we arranged to be collected by the hotel shuttle at 19.00, but the driver forgot & the hotel had to send a taxi to collect. In all we waited for an hour. Not good enough.
Despite this we would return to Maison des Oliviers if we come back to Marrakech.response / report this review -

We went for a wedding; what a ambiance. Beautifull setting, very good kitchen. The direct environnement is not finnished yet, but once you get through the gate of Jardin des Oliviers, you enter a different world.

I am not one to write reviews but this one needs to be said, PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE LIES like we did, my partner and i went for this hotel during our time in morroco and IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE we had the air conditioning was leaking, the receptionist was very rude always shouting and super unprofessional, they also charged us at the end of our stay which was not said when we first arrived at the hotel it was not also not mentioned in the description. it was not also explained on why we have to pay that much. the food was ridiculously expensive and tasted horrendous, one star was even too much to give this hotel. also the place was dirty, and the area was not great at all. the "BUFFET" breakfast was so disappointing morroco is a great place thank god we had enough activities booked so we did not have to stay in the hotel too much.. THE STARS THAT WAS GIVEN THIS HOTEL IS A LIE BIG LIE. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
