  A simple menu. It had a very rustic feel and steered me towards meat. Went for the pepper steak. It was without doubt the best steak I have ever had. You look at the plate, it looks so unfussy and plain even. But the quality of the steak was superb. The light is low, a very chilled atmosphere. We were not asked if we wanted a dessert, it was that laid back, they didn't even ask! But to be honest it meant more room for booze later. Excellent food. Decent wine. Welcoming and friendly staff.

  They could not have served food any faster despite lunch hour and with a smile - service was great. Gazpacho was very intense, a bit sour but good. Octopus could have used more seasoning, but presented beautifully.
