One of the earliest buildings of Almohad architecture. Exceptionally situated, beautifully built, carefully restored. Mainly without a roof, you could consider this the San Galgano of the Atlas. – As the mosque is not in operation, fortunately it can be visited by non-muslims as well, alhamdullilah.
A hidden Gem that stands as a memory of a past dynasty
Empty inside. It is only about the feeling of being there.
Partly restored mosk.
Stunning views and a fantastic historic monument. well worth a visit
Quite and beautiful
Nicely restored.
Great old Mosque! Look out for the owl in the mosque!
Beautiful, quiet spot, and perhaps the only mosque a non-Muslim can actually enter in Morocco (granted, this hasn't been used in years). There's a guide at the door who will share a little information, expect at least a 10dh (well-deserved) tip, and leave you to explore.
Great place to visit on this valley is this mosque, open for visitors.. fee is about 10 DH
