Honestly best beach experience ive ever had. Volunteer staff is rly nice its a rly cool community style accomodation. The only down side >> the water ddnt evacuate well in the shower and not clear how we shld dispose of washroom paper waste bc we cant flush. Wld strongly suggest to invest im solar panel to keep up the "green" side of it. Honestly have recommended to so many friends already this is a must go food is amazing and prices are god-sent. We stayed two nights, and would gladly go back and stay longer!

L'ane Vert is a wonderful group of people doing things for more than just earning a living or even for the majestic lifestyle. They have gone out of their way to make their business environmentally friendly and conscious and they attract that kind too. The food was delicious and the beach was perfect! My catchphrase became "it was a dream". Top tip: the language around L'ane Vert is like arabic but many words are different, so french was more helpful here.

The location is nicely isolated, but easy to reach by shared taxis (~30Dhm from Essaouira). Because it is isolated, it's best to bring some food. However, they have a restaurant which serves tasty dishes. Often, in the evening everyone eats together. (50-70Dhm)

We stayed in the backpackers place, and this is the main crux of our stay. The tent is unclean and the matrasses lie on the bare ground. Fleas and other bugs are a common nuisance.

So, if you stay, keep away from the backpackers option, and you will have a nice stay.

Unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing contrary to our high expectations based on the website and the reviews we read. The eco concept they would like to associate themselves with is no where to be observed or experienced with trash lying around the hotel and building materials all around the tents. The staff is friendly but they seem to have their own agenda not putting too much care on the client's needs.

The only aspects that make the experience somewhat pleasant is the endless empty beach and the food that Mohammed prepares.

Overall, wouldn't recommend.

A wonderful place of great hospitality, beautiful surroundings and sweet surfing, all surpassed only by the excellent quality of the meals the staff prepares for you. Highly recommend if you want to flee the warm and busy cities and discover a tranquil, honest, sustainable, low-key hideout.

(Also, for some reason there are lots of really cute animals around. Camels, donkeys, kittens, puppies, you name it. I'm not kidding, this place is like Cute Town.)
