Trendy place to eat. Food pretty good. Great for people watching and being seen, if that is your thing. Not particularly cheap, but a nice place to hang out for lunch and supper (if it is warm). Alcohol available, which is becoming rarer in Marrakech.
A big disappointment! First problem: it was a really chilly April evening with 13deg and we were seated in an area without heaters (around 70% of the terrace are heated by mushroom heaters why not all of it?). After asking for another table, the waiter simply gave us two blankets.
Second problem: the food. 12€ for a goat cheese salad which is basically a big bowl of green lettuce with two tiny bits of goat cheese on top and two dry slices of oranges is not.
Seeing the prices, I feel like they wanna serve great food but for that you also need a great chef.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. You will see I have written many reviews and rarely give bad reviews. Lovely roof top which has been nicely decorated but that is all I can say which is nice about this establishment.
1) food came before our drinks
2) our starters were then left finished in front of us for 20 mins and we ordered more drinks
3) mains arrived - my grill from the terrace was cold, chips cold and beef chewy.
4) I asked for mayonnaise for my chips which never showed up
5) 25 minutes after asking for the second round of drinks and having asked where they were 3 times they still didn’t show up
6) Eventually show up when we have finished our food and I say we don’t want to pay for them for this reason.
7) They purposefully seemed to send people who didn’t understand and they walked off rather than sending anyone to resolve the situation. Even at checkout it was someone who didn’t understand English.
Gorgeous roof terrace with views of the city around it and the market just below. I can only comment on the bar as we did not eat at the restaurant bit. I had a mint tea and my friend had a beer. Plenty of well dressed staff looking after you but not in the way at all. They all spoke English, Arabic or French.
Awesome rooftop in the middle of the medina! came here for dinner and it exceeded our expectations. Food was very delicious and waiters were very helpful and attentive. They have live guitar music during the evening which adds to the ambience. The whole rooftop is lit up with lanterns in the evening which makes it look pretty. Would definitely come here again
Really poor service. I had a tajine lamb with so much sweet flavours on it, honey, fruits that I did not enjoy it at all. Burned broioats and a plain veg with couscous. The terrace is nice though.
An amazing find whilst wandering around MarrakechIt was like an Oasis! Alcohol was available and the food was amazing. And the staff were so much fun and so professional. Anyone who mentions about going to Marrakech i tell them they have to go here!
Decent food and nice set up, but oh dear God the service was horrible. We were told that we have 90 min with the table, which was no problem for us, except we didn’t know that we were going to wait 50 min to get our food - 40 min after ordering. The servers just all seem to be so busy walking around and somehow completely ignoring us, we finally had to ask the manager who went to chase the kitchen staff. I suspect the food was ready a while ago but the servers forgot about it. When we went to pay, the woman said the card machine didn’t work and demanded we pay cash - showing us a card machine which simply didn’t have a roll of paper put in. No one asked us if the food or service was good. If you want authentic Moroccan food I’m sure you can find elsewhere with better service.
The food, place, atmosphere is really nice especially on the roof. Worth it. Have to try when in Medina in Marrakech.
One of the best restaurants in Marrakech. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, perfect service. Been here few times and will return every time. Thank you!
Of all the restaurants in Marrakech near the square, this was our favorite. Great service, great food, and they even serve some alcohol.
A very good traditional Moroccan restaurant on the second floor (terrace) of a riad. Traditional dishes, great environment and very gentle waiters. Pay attention to the prices, which usually go over 100 DH per first/second dish.
We had a great meal here with great service. It is catered towards a more fine dining experience but it is not overpriced. I got a delicious vegetarian penne for 90dh. An excellent place for a date !!
4/5 because they don't have a lot of vegetarian options
Food was perfect. Nicolas was the best host. Thank you!
Great rooftop dining experience. Delicious food and friendly staff.
Great cosmopolitan place in a cosmopolitan city. Good food very friendly people. Huge rooftop terrace nice decor
Good view of the market inner souk alleyways and Marrakech - Nice staff. Food is good.
Fun environment, friendly staff, and fresh food! The salads were great, and the ambience was even better. Sitting above the medina is really cool, and the hats the restaurant provides make dining on the roof extra festive!
