It's not bad but some improvements are needed. Right from the start you will feel the spirit of Morocco and Tangier. Care with the people trying to cheat you.

Watch out for scammers when you get off the ferry from Spain. One guy pretended to be some kind of official, although I ignored him. There are a lot of con artists and commission seekers/ crooked taxis in and around the port, even as you walk towards the Medina, you will see many of these fake friends. Ignore them. RFS ferries are OK, it's nothing to do with them, although they do overcharge.
