The place is completely overpriced to the rest of the area and there was a terrbile smell some nights that made it impossible to sleep

Everything about my stay at Surf Maroc was wonderful! The staff members were very friendly, the rooms at the Taghazout Villa were beautiful, and the food was great. Girls Week was so much fun, and Maxime was the best and most encouraging surf instructor! I really miss waking up every morning at the Villa to that stunning view over the ocean. I can't wait to stay here again someday!

I got v sick from the raw sewage in the sea and couldn't surf for the second half of the trip
The smell at the accommodation is very bad because of the sewage
Woken every night at 3-5am by pack of wild dogs in the alley by the apartments .
Disturbed as I was ill in the day by a guy in the basement drilling into the rock, illegally converting his residence onto something by hand,
The website states a very begetarian based diet but it was meat every night and I felt like an annoyance being a vegetarian - one night was asked if I could just eat around the meat?!
Yoga was nice.

Looking for sun and a week of surfing, away from the horrible rain in London, I stumbled across SurfMaroc and booked a week at the Surf Villa in Taghazout. Great experience and can recommend it to everyone to stay at the Villa! If you are traveling solo, as a family or with some friends.
I booked the girls surf week and ended up meeting a great group of girls, who I went surfing with everyday, and more lovely people at the Villa. We had 2 female instructors who really made the week: they took care of the surf lessons (we went to different beaches everyday), and took us out on a trip to the zouk and massage (both included in the package!) all with a great sense of humor and nice songs in the car :)!
Furthermore the rooms were clean, and also cleaned everyday, bathroom for sharing was fine as I was hardly in the room/bathroom anyhow.
Overall the staff at the Villa was super friendly, at the reception and in the kitchen, lovely food in the morning/ evening and good pre-packed lunch at the beach - there was just nothing to worry about. And just before dinner a yoga lesson with sea view.. I miss it already!response / report this review -

From the minute I walked in all sun blazed and desperate for a spot to relax for the night I was looked after like a king. The fantastic receptionist/manager was on point and made the hole booking process a dream The apartment is masive sat TV full kitchen great views and much more Mouja serves a killer burger and home made ginger beer Man this place is a travelers dream I love it big time and highly recommend you pay them a visit You all have made my Moroccan holiday one to remember. masive thx Mr C. crazy chap on a bike with sun burn stripes on his head. lol xxx
