Fantastic stay at this Sofitel. Our time there was an absolute relaxation, we visited off holiday season, the hotel was quiet and clean, the staff very kind and helpful. The check-in was smooth thanks to Sofia who did actually spend more time with us the next day telling us about the Tetouan region. The room had an amazing view, ideal to enjoy in-room breakfast. With direct access to the beach, walking along the bay was by far our favourite experience. We were told we could use hotel bikes as well but didn't have enough time to try it out. Special thanks to Ms. Houda Lahlou who dedicated a lot of her time and energy to show us around and make our visit unforgettable. Will definitely go back.

I go to use the hammam. It's very nice, but the service is inconsistent. The indoor pool is definitely worthwhile if you can use it.

I went here with my husband back in January. The room design was beautiful but it wasnt well maintained. The first thing was the broken AC. My husband and I froze waiting for the room to heat up, then we finally called for reception to send us someone to fix it.
The AC was fixed by 12 am. I entered to take a shower, the shower drain was broken too and because of the design of the shower it made the whole room flooded.
I went down stairs looking for someone to help us out. NO ONE WAS THERE. looked everywhere, shouted, looked at cameras, called them over and over. Absolutely no one !
finally my husband heard them talking outside he walked outside and he found them hanging out in a different area smoking. Then they came running to us. It was after 1 am when this happened, I was absolutely furious. Tired from a long day of travel and the below acceptable customer service of a 5 star hotel. They switched our room to the room next door, not even an upgrade!
We didnt sleep till 4 or 5 am. We got awakened by a call at 9 am asking if we were going to check out. Not even a freaking apology!
We got up had breakfast and spoke to the manager there, who was extremely unprofessional and rude, her name is Ibtissam el halafi btw.
She said with no shame that its not her fault that the drain was clogged and that the AC wasnt working and that there were no staff to help us out and that this kind of thing happens! I think the kind of thing that should happen is getting you fired, because you absolutely have no idea how to provide customer service.
She was like since you booked through booking there is nothing I can do for you. At that time I was super tired and I just didnt want to argue with her anymore I went back to my room and went back to sleep and woke up and went through what she has told us and how rude and unprofessional she was. So we decided to check out.
She gave me her card saying that Im welcome to come back. Not even in your dreams!
I went to the hotel next door, that was 100 times better and 50% cheaper.

Spent the night on a all-inclusive package with Ftour (Iftar) and breakfast. Was welcomed like the king himself. Would recommend.
