This place is incredible!! I cannot say enough. The building is magnificent (and I don't use that word lightly). The location is near the Medina, yet feels private. The roof top bar is a must, the food is wonderful, and the service is impeccable. The only knock (and this is a joke) is the weight of the room keychain 😁
A stay here is not cheap, but it is absolutely worth the money.response / report this review -

The location is great right in the the medina but it has a road for cars the hotel is great big and a good food I liked the hotel and I recommend it.

I have had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Riad Fes for the last three days. It’s been absolutely amazing. I travel quite a bit and stay at five star hotels. The service, interior design and food are beyond fabulous! I wish I could name every single staff member to sing their praises! The most wonderful person, Herold, made our stay heavenly! We are so grateful for him! Trust this Birkin toting girl—you’ll be happy you stayed here and Herold will be your friend for life!

Riad Fès is definitely one of the insider tips for this city. If you are looking for pure luxury combined with the traditional flair of the Moroccan style you should stay at Riad Fes - Relais & Chateaux. One of the most luxurious experiences in terms of service and atmosphere. Even when you just spend some hours for dinner at the inner yard or at the spa area, this is A-Must-See in Fès. 🇲🇦

This is a must. The surroundings are just amazing a proper WOW bar with great staff that take the trouble to talk you and recommendations for local wines were given to us which were very good. Everything about this place is very classy and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thete was even an impromptu local music band that appeared for 10 minutes in a big parade! Not the easiest place to find but we'll worth it!

If you want to experience what it was like to be a prince or rich merchant in ancient Morocco, stay here! The hotel provides the kind of high level service you would expect from corporate hotel chains, but with a unique small hotel (or to be more precise, "riad") experience. The hotel is in the heart of the medina, which is the main reason to visit Fez. Many of the other high-end hotels are away from the medina, which takes away from the charm of tourism. The hotel manager was also exceptionally friendly and accommodated our unique requests. 5 stars!

stunning! a marvelous place to stay. Views from the terrasse overlooking the medina are splendid, the hotel itself a gem. One of the best place I ever stayed in my many years of travel.

Doesn't deserve to be a Relais Chateau. Reception hall beautiful but room we had was long & narrow and bathroom humid. Food is bad value for money.

Very beautiful, yes it's best place to stay with some comfort. Blue gate with vendors and food is very close. Entrance is tricky, it's on Derb Zerbtana, walk straight through passage and turn right, man guarding wooden door will let you in.
