Atika was really a nice guesthost. She speaks english perfectly. We had the room at the top, right beside the beautiful terrace which is almost the highest (non religious) building in the old town! The hot water worked in our room. The wifi is a bit slow but it is ok for standard surfing and social media. The breakfast is a little variety but has everything you need (Baguette, Juice from the bottle, tea, coffee, butter, jam). We liked it here and would stay again. Sadly Meknes is one big construction site as almost everything is not open for visitors. (But you can visit an old roman town by getting a shared grand taxi for 10 dh to the next town and a private grand taxi to the museum for 15 dh [Atika told us this trick, as it is more expensive to go there with bus or private tours])

Nice and antique place; it used to be royal members’ residence. Minus 1 point for not having hot water for shower!

Riad tipico marocchino, molto ben curato e anche se la struttura non è lussuosa è comunque di categoria superiore alla media. Vi ho soggiornato già due volte nei miei diversi viaggi in Marocco, e l'ospitalità dei gestori è sempre stata magnifica

Overall, an excellent place to stay. Good value, great central location in a lovely town, very different to the hassle of Fez. Rooms are in three grades, all are clean and comfy, although the smaller ones are a bit cramped. Beautiful roof terrace, great staff, good breakfast. Thanks to Atika and Simon for making the stay very enjoyable.
