Great restaurant which I booked for my mum for her 60th Birthday. They made it really special and brought her a cake and the whole band sang to her. Amazing food and views too!

My friend and I booked a table and we were “welcomed “ by a blonde girl at the reception who was so rude to us. She looked down on us THREE TIMES with a disgusted face, sat us at a dirty table and didn’t even took the time to say hi. She needs to learn some manners.

I wish I could give no stars. The worst place we went to in Marrakech. The service was so rude especially the hostess who shows us to the table. We started with a over priced cocktail each as it was a special occasion, well what a joke, they have no idea how to make a cocktail and the drinks were both quite obviously watered down. After the third person of the evening was nasty to us we decided to just get up and leave without eating.
Horrible place that’s only interested in milking tourists for all they can. Avoid!

The food here is amazing and the restaurant is air conditioned so whilst it's 38c outside it's a very welcome surprise. The decor in the restaurant is outstanding and very traditional moorish in style. The service from the staff was impeccable. Whilst inside Le Marrakchi you get a great panorama of the famous square below.

Free wifi. Belly dancers for entertainment. Free peanuts and olives. Overlooks the main square. Drinks are a little pricey but the service is good.

Best meal in the five days I spent in Marrakesh. Moroccan salad and tagines were fantastic. Good for a group where you can share and sample multiple dishes. Nice view of the Medina.

Good location but the food was very average. Needed lots of water to wash down the driest chicken I ever had in a tagine. Staff bitching at each other helped as entertainment.

Let me start by saying that location wise this place is great. However, we were sorely disappointed by the service. We just wanted drinks (it was after 9 pm by this point and we had already eaten) and the waiter seemed really annoyed at us for this. It then took ages for our drinks to arrive, meanwhile our neighbours did not have this much of an issue, their drinks arrived on time. We decided that considering it was starting to get really crowded (we were moved from our seats to accommodate a bigger company) and we could no longer comfortably even move our chairs a mm, to another bar. We counted what we needed to pay and asked for the bill. The best part was that our bill came to160 (2 drinks), and when we gave them 160 the waiter told us, a total of 3 times, service is not included. Where I come from service is something that is given when service is good. If it isn't good (as we felt it was) you take your losses and be friendlier to the next person. And no matter where I have lived I have never encountered a waiter that refused to let us leave until we left a tip. It's a shame really.

The mezza and lamb tagine are so good and generous. There are traditional music & belly dancing as well. I would highly recommend! Overall, a very good value for the money in central of Marrakesh medina.
