Luxurious restaurant with great atmosphere and perfect service. Food delicious, typical Moroccan. Big roof terrace (we couldn't really enjoy the view because of heavy rain).

Upmarket tourist place with excellent service. Food is good but nothing special and prices are high. Good wines. Do go upstairs for drinks beforehand. Recommended if you like safe, tourist places.not recommended if you like local places.

Food was good, not great - we got one of the tasting menus for the two of us and added two dishes. It was way too much food. The chocolate mousse dessert was delightful. The service was painfully slow and we waited on the rooftop patio for 1.5 hours for them to bring us to our table. They allowed us to make a reservation but I don’t think they realized their dinner service hadn’t started, resulting in the 1.5 hour wait time. The service and time are the reasons for the 3-Star review

This was the best restaurant in all of Morocco! We did a culinary excursion and ate at many fine establishments, most at a higher price point than Dar Zellij. But the food, ambiance, and service made this the winner. The menu has prix fixe options and the portions are extremely generous, and I'm used to American portions! There is live music that is chill and non intrusive. All the staff spoke English fluently. They can even send you back to your hotel with a guide to ensure you don't get lost.

We took vegetarian menu and it wasn’t tasty at all. I guess Moroccans are not good with vegetarian food. It was enormously expensive, the worst value in my life. Very touristic. Poor service ( few times we asked the waiter to come to us but he just went away, few times waiter stepped on our feet and didn’t even say sorry). When I was paying by credit card, I asked manager to charge me in MAD and of course he charged me in USD with extra 5% commission from MasterCard.

The road to get there is greeted with locals who will do anything to try and guide you for a price, so you have to be stern and say "No" as polite as can be. The inside is beautiful with great service with a roof top terrace for arrival drinks and a romantic inside for the main eating area which is covered with fresh petals. The food is either tapas or single starter, main and desert dishes but a little pricey for what it is. When leaving the waiters kindly walk you back to you riad which is a great service for a sketchy area. Overall I recommend for the restaurant but be weary of the journey to get there.

Lovely romantic setting great views from the bar on the roof. Great atmospheric room on ground floor in the Riad. Food was lovely and great selection of drinks and cocktails.
