Chez Hosni is an awesome guy and his restaurant is already there for 20 years! He can speak Arabic, French and English. The dishes are tasty and are with good prices. He has a speciality dessert made of banana, orange, macaroons, raisins with cinnamon - heaven!!! It can be very busy during lunch hours but not dinner. The restaurant is located along the street with only 4 tables so better be early. You can watch and learn on how he does things. He actually asked me to help him in the kitchen, which I gladly accepted. He shared his recipe on the fish tagine that we ordered. Highly recommended!

If you want to eat close to the (pottery) market and want to experience the moroccan cooking and hospitality in a real Safi restaurant then go here. Eat what the chef suggests to you, mostly dished slow cooked on coal fire in real Safi ceramic pot. Choices are fish, chicken, beef and other meat. Enjoy what the chef suggests and also try the special fruit dessert. Might be that you will hear "pay as much as you like" at the end.
