The refuge is clean and well managed but noisy and sometimes overcrowded. The food is quite good but the service (especially when you're moroccan) is very low. You can stop by if you're a pure hiker looking for a bed in a dormitory but don't forget your ear plugs if you don't want to hear snoring around you and pay attention to your equipment ! Good luck !

Very poor supervisor, tried give me room for 100 EUR without any confirmation, just a rub me. Charged me lot of extra, because I didn't agree with the price, thanks to nice people around me I could stay. Cold and dirty place, a otherwise it was only one night, so we survived.. Can't recommend at all

The 'Les Mouflons de Toubkal' refuge take its name from a mountain sheep native to the high Atlas. The refuge is private and had recently been constructed by a native of Imlil. A professional mountaineer who had particularly been motivated by his exceptional love to the Atlas.
The refuge has been built within striking distance of the Toubkal summit (4167m) in a dramatic environment at an altitude of 3207m, surrounded by 4000m peaks.response / report this review -
