I never write reviews, but the service was SO slow and rude that it was notable. If it wasnt torrentially downpouring outside, after ten minutes of standing around trying to ask for a table and being completely ignored, we would have left. Pizza took about 40 minutes to come out (after 20 minutes of waiting for a waitress), and we would have gotten dessert, but we wanted to be in bed before morning. The Neapolitan pizza was really good, as was the tonno salad. Mandala pizza was just ok, a little too heavy and not as crispy as the Neapolitan.
Excellent taste! The pizzas, pastas and soups were definitively part of the experience. They have a delivery service that is a bit too slow that's why I rate the restaurant with only four stars, but the pizza is worth the waiting. The Mandala pizza is great if you're not too hungry and want something simple for the night.
Not wanting to eat Moroccan cuisine every single meal, and missing home a bit, I found this place a godsend. I went 3 times during my stay. Consistency in portions and taste was a little less than I'd have liked, but overall, the food was fantastic. The presentation was beautiful as well! Staff is not super attentive, but nice, in general.
Quaint, warm, cosy little spot. The weather was pretty miserable so was great for an evening indoors.
We had 2 delicious pizza’s. I had a margarita and asked for extra artichokes, which was not a problem at all. And they didnt charge me the earth to add a topping. All in all, super delicious. And very light as the bases are thin.
Service a little slow but we weren’t in a rush.
There was big raining when we were stayed in Chefchaouen, so we have called them to place delivery order. They can communicate with English. After our order, they told us to wait 45mins. When our food came, it was still hot and yummy.
The best dinner we had in the whole country. If you had enough Tajines and local cuisines, then this is definitely the one you should dine in.
The service was extremely rude and impolite!!! We arrived around 13:00 and asked the waitress whether we could have lunch here. The waitress was very impatient and told us they were closed. We waited outside the restaurant and tried to find the working hours of this restaurant since the waitress refused to answer any questions. At this moment, the waitress came out and told us not to stand outside the restaurant in a very rude way. We asked her why and when they will start to open. The waitress said they don’t speak English. Then we said we can speak French with her. However, she was so agressive and told us that she only speak Arab however, she told us that they were not open 2 minutes ago in French how ridiculous it was it was a very bad experience in Chefchaouen the people here are so nice and friendly except this restaurant:/
I would rate it 0 if I could. The staff is so rude and disrespectful. We tried eating there multiple times and got shot down, with extreme disrespect. Theirs website hours are incorrect. We walked a long walk to get there and it was 12:45 (45 minutes after they said they are open) and they said they didn't open until one so we asked to sit and they snapped at us and said no we can't sit and wait. The staff spoke English to somebody else and when I asked a question lied and said they didn't speak English.
Really good and friendly service. A charming place. The food is good but still need some work.
We had an amazing dinner! The food was delicious! It is a perfect place if you want to eat something out from moroccan cuisine. The pizza is crusty and so tasty. We loved the cheescake and the chocolate cake. Definately a place you must go if you come to Chef it was very busy so the service was not that fast, but apart from that EXCELENT. We would repeat it before leaving, we want to try more dishes :D
Nice pizza. Good service. The price was perfect. The place is near to the old city.
Nice clean little place with good food.
Opens at 7pm and fills up quickly. Make a reservation. Pizza was quite good if you are looking for a break from traditional Moroccan food. You won't find a deep dish pepperoni, but thin crust with chicken, seafood, ground beef and assorted veggies with mozzarella.
The pizza was very nice and different, the noodles appear to be pre made sauces with the different ingredients added into later on. The only downside is the waiting time when sitting in, it took us 40 minutes from ordering until we were served. If getting a pizza, just get it for take away. If the waiting time for eating in wasn't that bad would have given more stars.
