  The museum as well as the park behind it aren't really taken care of. The plants are dry, chairs and benches are broken, no security check on the place. Young people do whatever they want in the place..

  متحف ذاكرة أغادير يحملنا إلى تفاصيل غاية في المأساوية حيث تحكي مقتنياته ذكرى فاجعة زلزال أغادير الدامي الذي ذهب وبقيت أغادير ..
  وللمزيد من الآثار المتعلقة بذات المناسبة قصبة المدينة التاريخية المعروفة محليا بـ "أكادير اوفلا" فالقصبة شهدت الزلزال دون أن تتأثر به ولقيت شامخة.
  
  و تقع القصبة على قمة جبل يعلو ب 236 متر عن سطح البحر وذلك بشمال مدينة أكادير التي يشرف عليها.
  
  وتم تشييد القصبة في عام 947هجرية الموافق لعام 1540 م على يد السلطان محمد الشيخ السعدي لهدف التحكم في ضرب البرتغاليين الذين استقروا عند قدم الجبل منذ875هجرية الموافق لعام 1470 م في إطار بحثهم عن طريق الهند،
  وقد أنشأوا عند الساحل قرب عين فونتي حصناً وأقاموا على سفح الجبل برجا آخر لمراقبته مما دفع السعديين إلى بناء القصبة على قمة نفس الجبل.
  
  وقد مكن هذا الموقع الاستراتيجي من قصف المنشآت البرتغالية بالمدافع في سنة948 هجرية الموافق لعام
  1541 م وصولا إلى تحرير الحصن البرتغالي المسمى "سانتاكروز" وبالتالي تناقصت أهمية القصبة إلى أن أعاد الغالب بالله السعدي بناءها.

  This exhibition is a display of photos of Agadir from the earthquake and the time before. Beautiful photos but not much context.
  
  We were alone there and had compleat access to the guide there. If it had been busier, some written information had been helpful.
