Riad rouge was most definitely the right place for me in Marrakesh.I felt like home all the time, Ali and the other guys were kind and helpful, offering tea all the time. The common area is a uniquely decorated room with chilled atmosphere where you could easily meet other people and enjoy conversations. Bathrooms are nice and clean, rooftop area is the perfect place to relax or just sit and enjoy a cup of tea. I would definitely recommend the place to other people traveling

Brilliant hostel
Outstanding hostel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, they went miles out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. Clean with nice decor in an excellent location. This place has what other hostels don't get- a good vibe with a friendly atmosphere. The common area is a good place to hang out but not in your face with noise late at night. If you are visiting Marrakech then don't look elsewhere as you couldn't possibly find better. Top hostel all round- highly recommended. Cheers, Irwin.response / report this review -

I had a lovely stay. The location was perfect, easy to get to get to. It's super cozy with plenty of space to hang out. Love the common area. Bed was comfy and I loved falling asleep to music. Staff were welcoming, nice and helpful. Stay here!

Great Location - Friendly and Helpful Staff
Located in the centre of Place D'Jeema El Fna. It is a hostel - but it serve you with airport pick up that wait you with a sign saying 'Riad Marrakech Rouge"..upon you arrival in the parking lot of Place D'Jeema El Fna : the staff already waiting for you and take you the hostel. It is really in the centre of Place D'Jeema El Fna. It also offer a variety of excursions - to the Sahara, the mountains. If you prefer travelling independently they can arrange car hire - or they can simply give you any advice you may need for your adventures.
If come by yourself, they can meet you at Cafe De France in Place D'Jeema El Fna - the HOSTEL is about a minute away.
The hostel is a Riad, so the character just like Riadcan not beat the location and the helpful staff.response / report this review -

Firstly, if you book here, check out the directions video you will be sent. Really helpful and makes the place easy to find. Had a fantastic stay here and must be one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Thanks to Hind, Mohammed and Hicham for your excellent hospitality. I’ll be back for sure

Marrakech Rouge is a fabulous place to spend time away from home. Within no time I had meet many other backpackers; sharing Moroccan tea and travel stories. I spent a week there and had an amazing time every single evening. Thank you to all those working at Marrakech Rouge. I understand why you have been selected as one of the best hostels in the world. Your hospitality is second to none. Amagi!

Great Service provided by the driver (Fouad) ; Very Friendly and Accommodating; Extremely Helpful and Patient; Trustworthy and Reliable. Would definitely recommend and use again especially for the Families due to his mannerism and sense of respect.

Staff ignores you more or less and gives you the feeling of disrupting them from something important every time you want something. A shisha costs you 5€ and isn't worth the price, we didn't ask for tea then. Breakfast is alright, nothing special. Rooms are hot, even at night, fans are not provided. An AC runs in the main room. Taxi transfer without any problems.

Maybe a rare experience- expected to be ok with this hostel based on reviews, however we arrived & before even setting our bags down were handed a bill. Bathrooms very smelly (not cleaned), one outlet in our dorm, didn't find Mohammed to be helpful or kind. Sahara Tour booked was very good value for money (€65), however it rained & we asked him 3x if roads would be open- he assured us yes and they weren't- took 17hrs to get to desert. Not his fault- but wish he would've made a call to make sure

The best hostel I have ever stayed in
Beautiful decor, really friendly staff. The rooms are simple but good value for money. The terraces were a highlight as we relaxed on the sofas during the evenings if the Marrakech streets got too crazy.
Would recommend to anyone, although be prepared for the possibility of big groups of students staying too, which made things a little noisier!response / report this review -

Had the best time at Marrakech Rouge Hostel, the staff are so helpful and lovely, so many places to relax if it may be on the rooftop terrasse or in the colourful common area. highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in the beautiful city of Marrakech!!! Will definitely come back and stay again.

Excellent environment to meet people and have fun. Close to the main areas. Facilities like showers could be a tiny bit better. But all is great. AMAZING breakfast.

Booked two nights and a Sahara trip through their website a couple of weeks in advance, but when we arrived after almost 24 straight hours of traveling they told us they had no one scheduled to arrive that night. This was also after two emails about a taxi from the airport that they said in the confirmation email would be provided if requested. Requested twice with no response. After showing them the confirmation email I was sent and a very long period of time they finally said they had a room for us "next door" at one of their sister hostels. It was definitely not next door and actually a very long walk away, probably 20 minutes +. The hostel they put us up in was very dirty and dingy, and I found out after returning home, half the price of what we paid for a night in Marrakech Rouge due to the fact that it was cheaper overall and we were supposed to be in a 6 bed dorm and were put in a 10, but they did not give us any refund. Would never book here again. However, every other hostel we stayed at in Morocco was wonderful.

Amazing hostel with super helpful staff, great accommodations, a lot of character, awesome guests, and the right balance of energy and chill. Be sure to check out the excursions they offer as they are a great value and if you need any help with anything during your stay, just ask the staff and they'll be able to work it out.
Definitely a younger crowd (as most hostels are) but not a party-obsessed vibe. Free breakfast and less than 80 dirhams per night are just the cherry on top.

Really good value for money, delicious and typical breakfast served on the couches where you can catch up with new people. Staff very friendly and efficient, just enough for what I was looking for, a place to sleep, shower and breakfast in the city centre of Marrakech.
