  Cute store on a nice street but unfortunately, the selection of English language books was very disappointing. It was limited to almost only old time classics. I would have liked to see some by Moroccan or regional authors.

  Une charmante librairie-salon de thé -galerie en plein centre de Tanger. A 100m de la Place de France.
  Pour prendre le pouls de la vie culturelle et passer un moment de découverte.
  Uncontournable ! !

  Les Insolites is one of Tangier’s best bookshops that has a wide selection of books mainly in French, but also some in Spanish and English. The bookshop is well run and has an outside seating area where patrons may enjoy a coffee or tea during warmer months.
  
  I wish there were more books by Paul and Jane Bowles, my favorite authors who lived and wrote for many years in Tangier.
  
  The shop is attractive, though not very large, and regular readings and gatherings are held here. Various painters’ and artists’ works are displayed on the walls which you may purchase.
