Good alternative if you have spare time traveling around Chefchaouen. You can hike up to God's bridge from the parking place which takes around 2h (return). Make sure to take enough water with you, it is quite a steep hike. We were trying to get under the God's bridge for the best view, but couldn't find the way along the river, the current was pretty strong and cold to cross it.
NB!: there was a weird local guy on our way, acting very strange and offering gay sex! So beware and don't go there alone!response / report this review -

To get to cascade akchour u need to drive around 45 minutes from chefchaouen then walk to cascade it depends how fast u climb or walk to cascade for us we were not very fast we stopped sometimes it took us 3 hours walking to get there. There's is water and restaurants on the road. It is fun and a good place I highly recommend it.

A nice long hike through beautiful surroundings. Also perfect for a lovely swim in one of the lower basins downstream, if you're not that much in to hiking
