The post gets crowded. It is better to go there early in the morning. The service is slow and no one seems to take his work seriously.
I am a tourist and used the ATM machine outside La Poste on Avenue Imam Mouslim in Dradeb. The machine not only did not give me my 400 Dirhams after I entered the correct code but the people inside behind the counter insisted I had to go downtown to La Grand Post on Avenue Mohammed V to try to get my money. The manager just shrugged his shoulders when the woman behind the inside counter told him what had happened.
I did not have time to go downtown and went across the street to another bank and easily got 400 Dirhams. When I checked my online bank activity, it showed that my bank charged me for a withdrawal at this La Poste ATM when no money came out of this particular machine.
Typically, no paper receipt is printed by this and many other ATMs in Morocco. It is irresponsible and irritating. Can banks not afford paper or are they just too lazy to order it?
I would definitely avoid using this machine and instead go to a large bank, and one that you know that works and will reliably print a paper receipt for your transaction. This is no way to gain business. They do not seem to care, and I suspect this has happened to other unsuspecting people.
My advise is do not use this ATM.
