Staying within the old kaspah of Ait been Hadfou, rather than in the modern town across river, was a treat. Wonderful authentic atmosphere. Great and friendly service with good food. Hajja has solar powered electricity (with some wifi, but not for large amounts of data). The rest of the old kaspah does not have electricity, which means you can stroll among the old alleys in the dark, and view stars from the several terraces in this Hajja. Large room but small Paris-sized shower and toilet-- worked fine but cramped. Staff did meet us in the modern side and carry luggage. Very quiet at night but no worry about how much noise you make. Downside is no air conditioning in our room-- only night air.

Very good tour guides. Clean. Lot of history given in friendly way. For fans of movie there was a lot of famous movies recorded
