JBT did an excellent job arranging and executing our 14-day tour of Morocco in March, 2016. Thomas and Fazia were a pleasure to work with during the planing stage. Our itinerary was ambitious (our choice), but the trip ran so smoothly that it was far from exhausting. Naim was an excellent driver and a pleasure to spend time with. The roads and other lodging were well chosen, as were the activities, such as rock climbing in Todra Gorge, wandering through an idyllic date oasis, climbing a massive sand dune at sunrise … . Our three children enjoyed learning about Amazigh culture and especially meeting Naim's family in the Dadés region. We are usually independent travellers and had some pre-trip concerns about feeling disenfranchised by using a company and driver/guide. Our concerns proved to be mis-founded. There was sufficient independent time worked into the itinerary for us to get up to our own (mis)adventures!
    Highly recommended.

Late October 2015 - We arrive in Tangier. After that, our best bud Brahim takes care of us - and oh boy! does he. Brahim takes us to Chefchouen - OMG - its all blue and very up and down - the Riad is unbelievably luxe. Then to Fez where we are turned over to Naim. He is just the BEST. He made sure everything was totally good for us (and in the medina and in those souks its not easy). And he tells us about history and geography and culture - and even a bit about his family! We love him. Then to really ancient Roman ruins and goats in trees and Marrakesh and J'maa al D'naa (or something) and snake charmers and jugglers and acrobats. And always fantastic food and luxury in a riad. This is all thanks to JBT (Journey Beyond Travel). These folks are beyond good. The best. The very best.

Have just returned to Melbourne after an amazing 16 day trip around Morocco with Journey Beyond Travel. I travelled with a girl friend and we like out of the way, adventurous holidays where we mix with the locals and stay right away from Western hotels and tourists. I can highly recommend JBT for creating and delivering us an amazing holiday. Everything went according to plan with no problems at all. Naim, our driver guide for the whole time, was outstanding. We never once felt anxious or scared about our safety. We had lunches with Berbers in their own homes, ate at market places, rode camels to a tent in the Sahara, stayed in the High Atlas at a wonderful trekking lodge where the mule took our luggage up, rode the mule, stayed at beautiful riads in the old medinas, visited the Valley of the Roses & walked out in the fields amongst the locals who were picking the roses. Thank you JBT for the trip of a lifetime! Keep up your good work! Kind regards Diana
