  The most famous mosque in Tangier, it was built on a temple from the roman era..it is here where king mohamed 5 came on his horse to pray Friday prayer after the 9th April 1947 indépendance speech.

  I love this place because I have a history with it: when I was a little baby I couldn't stop crying so they told my mother to take me there and puts me under the carpets when people are praying and to hit me with a broomstick so that I can stop crying hhhhh and after that my father took me almost everyday to the terrace next to it to watch the sea and the ferries coming and going
