Great place to stay at night!
You have to drive through a huge gatehouse to get inside an amazing compound with unusual large elaborate buildings. Follow the road up, taking a right before reception to an upper level overlooking the countryside. There are about 15 pitches which are relatively level between trees. The parking left and right of the drive up is not at all level. There is an area up further past reception through 2 large gates where you can walk to the hill behind you.
Reception is a small office guarded by a small dog. Beside are the women's toilets and showers. The men's showers (2) and toilets are around the back of reception, opposite the hens coup. The showers are very hot with a great flow. You have to step into a man-made very high shower tray. Care must be taken getting out as the tile get very slippery.
There is also a handicapped shower room and laundry room beside the men's toilets.
We both had a shower in the morning and the men's were hot but the women's were not hot.
There are all the services available. We only used the black drain situated in a little house beside reception.
The WiFi is very fast at reception only and there is no inside space to sit while surfing, outside only. You will not be given the WiFi code as the guy will input it into your phone.
We did not use the electricity but plenty were plugged in. Each morning about 8.30am a free baguette is delivered to your van. If you sleep it out go to reception for one.
There are a couple of small shops down the road and the town of Azrou is 20 minutes walk away. Don't forget to visit the monkeys in the forest 4km away on the N13 towards Midelt.
We found it got cold at night, end of March.
It cost 60 dirham without electricity (20 extra) per night.
Closed hotel. The place seems abandoned
Once again a Moroccan camp site lets itself down with no hot water for showers or washing dishes. In a pleasant position. The elaborate entrance gives you false hope.
Good site, spacious and easy for emptying etc. Handy for Moulay Idriss and Volubilis but not in walking distance of anything.
They Don't accept tentes and high risk
