Hidden bar in the Médina! It offers a cozy and chill experience, and yummy cocktails. The price is similar to a European bar price, but the experience is quite exotic since we are in Morocco!

El Morocco Club is definitely worth trying at least once, for the ambiance and delicious food. Dinner menu prices are expensive for Tangier, but always very well prepared and delicious.

If you want to have lunch outside under a large old tree, you can enjoy a soup, salad, club sandwich and dessert for a reasonable price. All ingredients are fresh, and the service is usually, but not always, prompt.

Several friends tell me that El Morocco Club is the best restaurant in Tangier. I would like to eat dinner here but I am waiting for some generous friend to pay 300 Dirhams, not including wine or tip. However, as stated, a simple lunch outside under the big tree is less than half the dinner price, and quite pleasant during the warmer months and it is easily affordable.

No alcoholic drinks, including wines, are served outside during lunch under the huge old fig tree, only inside at dinner time or during “Happy Hour” at the bar.

You may make reservations, but it is not required.

It was closed around lunchtime. They only open the top floor balcony for dinner. When you are here watch out for hustlers who try to take you to another restaurant.

this restaurant definitely sticks out from the rest when it comes to the good service or the alcohol list it offers to its client.

The food however was a big disappointment: the ceviche had a weird taste and I didn't finish it, the chicken course with spices and lemon was far less good than anything I've had during my 4 days stay in tanger.

    Service and ambiance 4 stars
    Food 3 stars

Excellent drinks, great patrons of every age group, very simple yet chic decor, friendly staffs, surrounded by historic monuments in the Kasbah. The music? Truly rocks! Prices a bit steep, but it is worth trying. The only thing that was so ever slightly disappointing was the food. Not bad, but only mediocre. But hey, if one wants to eat proper dinner one should go to Casa d'Italia or San Remo, right?

Had a great time in the basement of the club our first night in Tangier. Food and drinks were excellent, staff was very friendly (spoke to them in Spanish, not sure if they have a lot of English). Be aware the downstairs bar is a smoking area.

Very nice place. Staff is nice and helpful, they speaks, at least, Spanish, Arabic, English and French.
It's pretty cozy place, over the average price but with a really good food quality.
Great place to relax and chill or have a romantic dinner.
Everything in the menu is delicious
