Interesting day out. Falls impressive. Many of the small restaurants provide spectacular views while you eat. A local colony of monkeys are very tame. The walk up and down the falls can be quite steep.

Beautiful hike down to the falls (we went down a back path to avoid the huge crowd on the main stairs). There were tons of wild flowers and monkeys that will climb in your back. The main stairway has amazing views and is packed with people. Partway down there are people selling peanuts so a monkey will sit on your back.

Very gorgeous waterfalls. We took a tour here (well worth the money) and got to see the neighbouring olive gardens with an interesting story. Went down to the bottom of the falls and took a row boat to get near the falls. After the tour we ate at a restaurant overlooking the small lake underneath the waterfall. After lunch we got to take some wonderful pictures of the monkeys living near the falls.
All with all, visit this place, take the tour and eat near the falls!

Amazing waterfalls. Make sure you wear trainers or hiking shoes. Went via a excursion group. 12 in a minibus. Long drive almost 3 hours which includes stopover for a break. The local guide will ask for a fee of his own of about 20 dhirams. Lunch is separate. Weather was great. The scenery was amazing and worth the money. We paid £21 each.

It was very tranquil. The walk down the slope was quite scary at the beginning but half way done, you will start to admire the beautiful scenery. The restaurants are inexpensive. If you are a lover of monkeys, there are loads who are very entertaining

A good place to visit, well worth a long drive. Access is good if your able bodied. Not recommended for anyone that can't walk down and up steps easily.

You need a level of fitness as there are over 600 steps down to the base of the falls. The monkeys also seem circus trained so bring your own peanuts and bananas. Aside from that, it is a spectacular sight and a thoroughly enjoyable day out.

Would have been 5 stars without guides asking for dirham for doing their job (what you already paid for when you paid 25 EUR for the trip). False advertising in my opinion!

Nice place. You don't necessarily need the guide but it's nice and beautiful ! The monkeys are a lot of fun.

When taking an excursion pack please note that most of the time it will only include the transport. Be ready to pay extra on site for a guide, boat ride (not mandatory), food etc. Etc.

The waterfalls are beautiful, so is the area around it. A lot of touristy attractions added on site but still enjoyable !

It's a lovely paradise in the middle off Morocco. The cascades are a very nice place to go on vacations. An advice: don't go at weekends. Is full of local families and the water gets dirty rapidly. The monkeys stay in the cascades only after summer, when most of people already gone.

We had a very good tour guide who took us from the top of the waterfall to the bottom, stopping at very photogenic places which was really nice. We got to ride the boat and go swimming at the bottom of the waterfall. Truly amazing and definitely a place worth checking out if you're in Morocco. 👍

Spending a night in the area and visiting the waterfalls is one of my most favourite experiences, it is such a beautiful place and the waterfalls are incredible. There a small cafes and stalls all the way down to the viewpoint, surrounded by olive trees and wild monkeys, I would also recommend going to the tops of the waterfalls and looking down over them, it's an incredible experience would love to go again!

It's a must see for anyone visiting Morroco. I wish i stayed here for a few days rather than just the day trip. Despite some of the signs people were swimming and jumping into the water (very fun) however near the falls I only saw men swimming which may be a cultural thing, it may be uncomfortable if you are a western woman as they can stare a little. There's a small village down stream that is worth a visit. Amenities are designed to extract as much money as possible like any tourist spot. 10euros each for a meal overlooking the falls isn't too bad.

Well worth the 3 hour drive from Marrakech. I went in April after winter rainfall so lots of water cascading down. Not sure how much water trickles down during the hot dry season. Many local restaurants serving Tagine dishes. Nice little boat tour around the pool at the bottom of the falls. No need to hire a local guide as you can find the falls easily and walk around at your own leisure.

Amazing place in the middle of very dry land Many tourists around although the place still needs some infrastructure development. Beware of naughty monkeys - if you provoke them, they will jump on you. We had to evade them a bit (they were not aggressive though, more curios).

If you literally only had time to do ONE thing in Morocco, I'd hands down recommend a hike here. I'm not a hiker or nature loving person in general, but the views are way too phenomenal for you to not consider coming to these falls.

Beware, there is not much safety- one slip and you're done for just don't be a fool.

Plenty of monkeys, for a small tip you can have one jump on your head but that's up to your discretion if you really want a wild monkey crawling on your face.
