Long queue at Passport Control. The check in counter is after the train station, quite confusing there. Please arrive early to avoid any hiccups

Morocco still a develop country located in North Africa, close proximity to Spain and Portugal. The very first time I flew from New York to Paris, France to Casablanca international Airport. The airport codename is CMN. Second time from New York to Lisbon, Portugal. And third time from Bangkok, Thailand, via Abu Dhabi, Dubai. Europe is surprising close to Casablanca, from Lisbon to CMN is about 1.5 hours flying time. Being close proximity to Europe, French is widely spoken, almost every Moroccan speaks French.
Each time I visit, from what I can see, the country of Moroccan is on the self destructive mode.response / report this review -

Staff are rude, nonprofessional at all, long lines that never end, all people are not helpful, visa officer looked so stupid,
very poor airport, places inside are dirty, their airline is like a nightmare and very old ones, cabin crew was really nice but I think they somke on board, they broke my baby's stroller and they treat people like animals, locals always are ready to steal you, police officers aren't helpful when you need them and they aren't professional.
It was my first and last time to use their airline or airports, try to avoid this place.response / report this review -

That one time I was stopped and searched over 5 times in an airport and a woman thought it would be okay to put her hands in my pants. The staff are a strange breed, I was stopped and searched a lot more than everyone else i came in with and after I had just gone through yet another search, a security woman took me to a room where she spent several minutes groping at my crotch and when I told her to stop it, she asked that I take off my under wear (I was on my period and prove to her that I was indeed on my period) when I complained that the groping felt incredibly inappropriate she gave me a condescending smirk, and her friend (also security) told me it was procedure, while I counted for her the number of women who all walked by without being searched in such an intrusive and intimate manner. I reported this to the higher security, who attempted to get an apology out of the woman for at least flinging the door open while my pants were still off, the security woman and her friends threw a fit. the only helpful security officer in this case pointed out to me that he knew racial profiling did exist in these kinds of "procedures" (I counted at least 15 more women walk by unsearched while all this happened). If you are a person of colour, I would advise you to avoid this airport. This was one of the most humiliating experiences of my life.

Who are these people giving this place more than one star? Probably the worst airport I've ever been to. Gang of security that really doesn't check you thoroughly, so what's the point of having them? It just slows everything down for literally nothing. The place is dirty and I mean everything in this place is dirty. The floors, chairs, the restrooms, everything is filthy. The people that work here are all rude. The locals that use this airport are all rude. Here's a tip that you will learn about the locals that you should know, they don't follow directions. Ever. They cut lines/que's, They ignore seat assignments. Truly a place you couldn't even pay me to come back to.
