The place is awesome, really picturesque and with a lot of character Which makes up for the not so good customer service. But it's also really cheap and in the very heart of the blue city. Very quiet, it's March and I think I'm the only guest 😂

The place is very authentic, nice decorations, amazing view. The price is also very affordable. Very beautiful inside in an amazingly beautiful city!
But. When we got there (8pm) having made prior reservation a month before, the place was empty and no body was inside. We waited for someone for 2 hours with all doors open. The contact card of the hostel had a number, but the person who answered did not understand a word in English. After waiting, a boy came who was very, very high. He gave us a room with no air conditioning, no towels, no bed sheets, no toilet paper, no door keys, no garbage can, and on top of that the toilet wasn't working and there was no hot water in the shower. I hardly managed to get bed sheets, towels and toilet paper from the high boy. It was soo bad!

Historic site. The entire city is blue and divine. A tourist must see. The cloud seem almost surreal. God is Great.

I only stayed for one night; but it was too long; I should have not stayed in this city. The city visually are very beautiful; the blue medina. But my experience in this city is better not be experienced by another traveler. I was robbed in the riad, inside the bedroom, while I was asleep! The thief took everything. passport, money, phone, and cards. The next day I spent whole day in police station, they tried their best, but there's nothing they can do. Later on, some children found the passport and cards; so I get back those, but lost my Samsung galaxy S7 edge and cash money. The hotel I stayed called Casa Blue City, picture attached. My suggestion; if you want to stay in Chefchaouene, pay more money for a decent riad / hotels, preferably not in the old town, go to the one where the car can pass in front of your hotel/hostel; at least by this your security is better.
