Very nice small cafe. We came twice to have breakfast (coffee and pastries) and it was very good. Recommended!
The quiet and simple Cafe Redouane is downstairs in the Hotel Redouane, and it is located in the center of Tafraout near the food markets, shops and buses. Its terrace provides a great spot on a main road that is ideal for observing whoever passes by in this quiet town.
Although the Cafe Redouane is connected to the very basic yet clean Hotel Redouane that is located upstairs and it claims to have food, when I went there in the late afternoon it had sold out of its limited food. A man makes donut-like pastries in the late afternoon for 1 dirham each.
The coffees and simple breakfasts are good but the sodas could be a bit colder. A redeeming factor is the reliable WiFi. This is one cafe that is open early enough, around 6:30 AM, to have a coffee or tea before the early 8:00 AM bus for Tiznit and Agadir departs at the CTM place just up the road.
The dark toilet could be better maintained and cleaned and there is no running water, but it was available from a large barrel. There was no working light switch inside and the electrical wires were exposed.
This cafe is a very popular place for locals and it's a very good spot to take a break while exploring Tafraout.
