This is a cafe that also has a selection of pizzas, salads, ice creams and some hot foods on its menu. It is an older cafe that was remodeled and sits at a strategic location across from the Hotel Rembrandt. Unfortunately, this place can at times be very noisy and unpleasant with some inconsiderate and loudmouthed patrons in addition to the constant flow of noisy honking cars outside and the periodic ambulance with loud sirens.

Unfortunately, on my visit today I waited more than 10 minutes for a waiter to come (he never did so I had to walk up to the counter to ask for a menu). Then half a dozen noisy Spanish and Moroccan men walked in and plopped down at a nearby table, needing another chair and wanting the one at my table (which I refused as there were many other chairs at other nearby tables). Incredibly they got served before I did, and finally I got a waiter to take my order. I would describe the service as nonchalant to nonexistent.

This place was renovated in 2015 or 2016, and transformed into a grey marble but nondescript modern cafe with one flat screen television downstairs and an upstairs seating area that is quieter than the street-level downstairs.

The coffees are about 14 Dirhams. All in all, it is not a good place to eat. My "Caesar salad" bore no resemblance to the authentic Caesar salad, mainly consisting of rice mixed with corn and served on a bed of some unwashed lettuce, surrounded by a dozen triangular wedges of half-stale bread that had been squirted with some mayonnaise. There were some tiny bits of chicken and pineapple mixed in, but this was hardly a Caesar salad.

As a cafe it is overpriced and annoyingly noisy at times, but at least it is clean. But as a place for a good meal, forget it. The waiters also acted defensively when I complained of my 20-minute wait. But do remember there are well over 1,000 cafes in Tangier so you can always go elsewhere.

Avoid. Expensive. Food and drinks are average. They don't like to give cups. Arrogant staff

Nice interior decor, good service, but a little bit expensive for me personally .
