This BMCE bank location on the Boulevard Pasteur in downtown Tangier is considered the main Tangier branch of this large Moroccan bank. It was remodeled a year ago so it is modern, clean and air-conditioned, and there are two ATM cash machines on the street front.

Off to one side is a currency exchange, but I have learned that the bank rates here (and at other banks) are not as good as the numerous exclusive "Change" businesses in the city.

The BMCE charges a monthly fee of 50 dirhams to keep your money in a checking account.
