  It has become a symbol of Riga, you will find this black cat in postal cards, keychains, magnets, t-shirts, mugs, and almost every souvenir.

  Nice place (specially in summer), calmed and with some restaurants on the surroundings. This is a symbol of Riga because of the legend of the cat, but could be easily missed otherwise.

  A house with cats on it. Why? Because a rich guy was denied the membership in the guild. So - as a protest - he put sculptures of cats on his house with their a** facing to the parliament.
