We got to taste five types of beers, from very light (in color, not alcohol) to more dark. And we had a hourglass to remind us that the beer loses its quality if not drunk in 20 minutes. So, we complied and drank all the pint-sized beers in 15 minutes to chose our favorite. And then we received the full-size of our preferred one - and the hourglass was reset to another 20 minutes - to keep the quality of the drink as it was made in-house. The food was great from what I recollect - I can't remember that much because after an hour I had five beers already - it was all for the sake of keeping the quality, of course!

Cool Latvian brewpub. Some nice local beers on tap and a good selection of food. TVs showing sports, even behind the urinals!

Interesting environment of the place, good place for having fun with friend for Friday evenings and weekends. Good prices and excellent food. One of the best places of higher than average level of Riga brewery restaurants. They also offer Czech cuisine which is just amazing. I’m not fan of drinking beer, but I must add my friends were enjoying it.

Good place, excellent and very polite staff. A bit pricey and their local beer is good but not excellent. Music choice is bit odd (in not so good way). But then again, those are worst things I could say about this place. Come here if you want a good service, and don't want to worry about reservations (their premises are huge).

After attending an Escape room, we were offered free beer in this place so sure enough, headed over.
There's karaoke with a DJ that sings when no one else is. The selection of karaoke songs is updated and in Latvian, Russian and English at the very least - enough to choose from.
The cheese platter came with relatively plain and bland cheese served with lingonberry jam, fresh coriander and dill; a local delicacy.
The beer is light, but tasteful. We had to wait for the bill but the server was honest enough to admit he took a smoke and forgot. Kudos for that!
A highlight from the place was that the most inner toilet is not a toilet but actually a secret passage "for romance" that connects the ladies' bathrooms with the gentlemen's.response / report this review -

Overpriced by a long mile
Food is decent, service below the average and the location (god help me) you will never find a parking space even 4-5 blocs away.
And yes, it is very Slavic there.
