Such a beautiful place! I was lucky enough to have a tour of all the rooms of the major. I love to see how this old manor has been renovated in to this beautiful restaurant and hotel. Btw, it used to be a primary school and I attended my first grade in this old building.

Lieliska pietura ceļā uz Liepāju. Apbrīnojami jauki atjaunotas telpas, pat Rīgas standartiem interesanta ēdienkarte. Bērniem draudzīga vieta, viens no jaukājiem bērnu stūrīšiem restorānos Latvijā (faktiski, vesela istaba), no kura bērnus grūti pie pusdienu galda dabūt.

The hotel (while new) has been very enjoyable. The restaurant does its best to try being a "restaurant" however "you can take a girl out of a country but you can't take country out of a girl". Simply put - you should enjoy staying here, but you shouldn't expect greatness from the waiters in restaurant. The food though would qualify for 3.5 (above catering) :)
