A nice big Rimi with all you could expect from a supermarket of this chain. Probably the largest supermarket in the area with biggest variety of goods. Come at lunchtime to grab some freshly baked cheese buns, hot from the oven :)

Open more than long enough to get your stuff, big array of products with lots of choice. Even though I didn't buy any counter stuff, all foods behind the counters looked fresh. Sadly the buildings around the supermarket are in a state of decay, making the neighborhood feel slightly unpleasant for those who haven't gotten used to what riga looks like.

supermarket has big variety of food/clothes and other things for home. evenings could be pretty busy with long queues. staff is helpful yet sometimes not available in shop to ask some question. vegetables/fruits are quite often damaged or already bad, so it's not properly maintained. same happened with sweets that was overdue. has different promotion discounts available. Every 3rd Thursday there is a local food producers market next to the supermarket which is really good and lots of tasty and healthy things available. advise to check it out for sure!
