Good, really hot coffee, interesting selection of cakes. Pleasant vibe, no rush, all ages welcome
Very tasty! Big choice, everything is fresh but the shop assistance would be smile when serving customers!
The most underrated cafe and bakery in Old Town Riga. Very close to the Christmas Market.
Mixed experiences. We went there twice in two days. The first time, good pastries, nice interior, good ambience. Pricey cold drinks, but overall- good quality and decent value.
The next day, we stopped by about five minutes before Rigensis opened for business. The door was open, and by all indications, they looked ready for customers. When my family (including my 15 and 10 year old kids) ducked our heads in, an obnoxious staff yelled, 'Get out, we're closed.'
This dyed-blonde's accept was so thick, I at first couldn't believe she actually said that- but yes, she did!
Unbelievably rude, to say the least.
Pro tip: if you work in the service industry, please be pleasant. Or maybe find another line of work if that's not possible.
This bakery looked so delicious, so we tried a bunch of their different baked goods. The only two things we liked were the small round coconut cookies (100g for 2 euros) and the savory ham bread pastry.
We also tried three cakes and they were just okay. The two larger cookies (one nuts and chocolate chips and one crispy) were just okay as well. Everything in the window is display unfortunately.
Their staff was extremely rude and we didn't have a good experience with them each time we went.
Good looking cakes but tastes bland. And cappuccino is one of the worst I've tasted in Riga..
Great "fika" place. Super cheap, tasty. I would have wished for some way of knowing what we ordered however. A little note in any language really. My kid ordered a cake which was drenched in cherry liqueur.
Order the teas, almond cake, and spinach pie. Also took some sesame bread home top quality
Caught the Staff steeling the cell of a friende. I was shocked! It seemed to be such a nice place.
It is very historical bakery and cafe.
The torte was quite a delicious.
And the interior surrounding was also peaceful.
Very good local patisserie where you can taste a local sweet foods.
I suggest to go there in the morning for breakfast you can smell e nice smell coming out from the oven!
