We didn’t like the tour. We wanted to hear about old town, instead we walked to the local market, old port and old soviet building, that part of city we didn’t like at all. We just lost time and walked back to old city ourselves.

Fantastic tour ! I loved ita at the beginning I thought it was going to be boring. But it happens to be that Reimundas is a great guide with a lot of historical knowledge and amazing attitude . The 2:30 almost 3 passes really fast . It is The best option to start discovering Riga, because you learn what to visit after .

Amazing tour around interesting historical places of central Riga. The guide pays attention to everyone and has a full answer to any question you have.
We've got quite comprehensive opinion on who Latvians are and what's their history out of 2.5h excursion. Nice! :)

Great tour, can highly recommend for everyone, who would like to not only see old town but the moscow district, markets and the real Riga-life instead. Also, Caspers is a great guide, has a lot of background knowledge and an awesome sense of humor.

Great tour. Kaspers was a fantastic guide. He took us on a tour of the real Riga and his knowledge as a history major really gave an insight into both the city and the latvian people. Kaspers has humor and is very good at including the entre group regardless of nationality. There was even a latvian couple on the tour which I think tells the tale this is a proper and not touristy tour. Highly recommended.

Great tour given by kaspas. Very interesting stories and places seen. It was nice to see the some alternative parts of Riga rather than the old town.

This was a really interesting walk around Riga which does not feature the Old Town - there's a separate tour for that. Our guide, Kaspars, led us through the snow for almost three hours telling us about some of the more modern history of the city in a very knowledgeable manner.
Among many interesting things we saw were old Zeppelin hangars utilised for very peaceful purposes and some stunning Stalinist architecture.
Kaspars' stories were fascinating and, if you're British, be prepared for some gentle teasing about Brexit and stag parties!

I definitely recommend going because it gives a nice overview and brief history of the city in only a couple hours. Only four stars because we've been on many free walking tours around Europe and this group was very large in comparison to others. I think it would have been better if they broke the group up and used three or four guides.
