  There is nothing special in the small town, but walk throught the forest to the sea is amazing. Also there is one restaurant which serves also fish dishes for 1/4 prices compared to Riga, very good. Good place for a trip to nature, not culture.

  If you're into nature, this is the place to go! If you are not particularly fond of nature, this is the place to go! No typo! Go there and you are going understand the whole beauty and peace of the place. Highly recommended!

  The entire place is very well kept, while still remaining natural. There's a even path leading straight to the sea and the scenery is wonderful! Surprised I haven't been coming here more often!

  Nice place where the mighty river Gauja meets the sea. Advice: access the seaside on Gauja village side rather than in Carnikava.

  Long sandy beach, lovely place to relax, swim and enjoy the sun. Nature reserve. Dogs are not allowed by Latvian law.
