This quaint little cafe has such a relaxing ambience. All the waitresses were really friendly. But most importantly, the food was not only well-presented, but also so delicious. Their chicken gyro pancake deserves an award, the grilled pork with onion marmalade was so satisfying and their desserts just made the meal complete. A place you must visit!

A great little restaurant just a stones through away from Sigalda train station. The restaurant offers an outdoor covered seating area with heaters and fur covers for the seats. They make the most amazing cakes that you have to try while you’re there, so many choices but all so delicious! Prices are good too and there’s a cost atmosphere to the place.

This place deserves the hype. All the dishes were tasty and nicely presented, especially the pasta was delicious. Service was pleasant. We arrived towards lunchtime and most of their famous pastries were sold out (it was also pretty busy), but the ones we did get were great. Unlike some other places several dishes on the menu caught our eye, so will have to visit again to try something else.
A small tip - you are expected to come to the counter to order (at least that was the case when we were there).response / report this review -

Excellent place. Everything from the menu tastes perfect with reasonable prices. Try the pancake (eggs and cheese can be added).

Came back again just to try the cakes again. Amazing place.
We also had the meatball soup, Camembert salad & potato strips which were all great!
Most importantly it's impossible to find real coffee in Sigulda and this place has it!response / report this review -

AMAZING cakes, fresh fruit tarts, pavlovas, cheap cookies You have to stop to this place and order some takeaway cakes before having a nice walk in the numerous parks the city has to offer. Particularly if you are French and still think that French pastries are the best (this was my case before tasting Latvian pastries)

We were visiting Sigulda in July 2016, from Dallas Texas, for two weeks
Enjoyed breakfast and lunch this caffe almost every day.
Foods is always very fresh and plates are vary presentable.
Delicious desert, very tasty coffee (we preferred it with touch of Rigas Balsam).Very nice, casual atmosphere, stuff speaks three languages, so
people from anywhere welcome to come.

This place is really nice. Food is really delicious. It doesn't have too much space, so it may be a bit hard to have enjoy it with a big company (best for company of 2-4 persons)
