It is a great place for people with kids and people who want great food and also for people who want to see some wild animals like bears and snakes, but the animals are accessible only sometimes, but it lakes some music and other attractions.

A very beautiful village with outstanding views in traditional Latvian folk style just by the sea. Great for a walk but the restaurant is extremely expensive and overpriced in my opinion. Here are some examples: €1.90 is cup of tea, €4.90 is three scoops of ice-cream with the splash of strawberry jam on it. If you have three kids with you it could break your wallet.
Bringing your own food and tea will save you a lot of money and there is a very nice outside space where you can have your own lunch. The restaurant’s staff is very friendly thought.response / report this review -

Staff is really helpful and friendly. Facilities cozy but not very clean. A bit pricey restaurant, just had coffee which was good and the view is beautiful. Good price for camping.

The view is nice - and only because the management here had nothing to do with creating it. It the camping area, however, is crowded with shirtless vacationers that provide dubious visual pleasure, and loiter in shorts in the restaurant area.
The food is sub-par for what it is, and massively overpriced for being well outside of Riga. Grilled pork neck chop in rosemary with red wine sauce was dry, not a hint of rosemary, and the red wine sauce (Lord only knows it was even present to begin with) was completely nullified by a large helping of cheap tasting marinated beet roots in brine. Fried potatos there were a total of 2 and a half. And small.response / report this review -

Nice view, terrible and overpriced food. Prices are on the level of Riga restaurants, while the quality is very average public catering. The turnover is probably low so they don't keep anything fresh (no fruits, no fresh meat, etc.)
"Berry and fruit smoothie" was ice + cheap strawberry syrup, extremely sweet to overpower the watery taste.
"Spaghetti" - was reheated and very tough to bite.
As a bonus - there is no dresscode. We felt out of place being smart casual with people walking around in restaurant in their training suits, shorts.
The waiter stuttered when we asked about our food - it was obvious that we are not the first being disappointed with the quality.response / report this review -

Very nice view from the restaurant to the 🌊 side. High-mid restaurant prices and french cuisine style. Clean toilets. We slept in our own tent ⛺️ Free wifi in the restaurant area. Very kid friendly. Lots of playgrounds and attractions.

Great location next to the beach, nice views, good food (sometimes a bit bland) and great fresh fish from local sources. In my opinion a bit overpriced.

Beautiful beach and great customer service. Highly recommend! Wc and shower was clean. Only one wc and shower for campers. Not open 24/7. Only minus was that this place has no warm diswashing place.
