This tower is remains of the cathedral what was destroyed during WWII. Church is reconstructed and it's one of the symbols of Jelgava. On the top of that church there are sightseeing place and a very good restaurant called Le tour de Marie. Good attraction.

Nice view on the observation deck of the tower on the 9th floor. Only $1 euro per person to take elevator up. We took the stairs down to visit the gallery and had lunch on the 8th floor. Beautiful decor and relaxing atmosphere. The frog legs, snails & mussels were all yummy.

Nicely rebuilt remains of old church, partially destroyed during WWII. Scenic panorama of Jelgava from the top.

First place to visit, if you come to Jelgava. There is tourism information center and you can visit some historical exhibitions. Also from top floor is visible most of Jelgava.

I eat to the restaurant La Tour De Marie at the 8th floor of this renovated church.
Good food choice and tasty for this French restaurant.
