Very nice/cozy place. I booked it for a dinner with family. The staff did an amazing job, starting from the reservation phone call.
They seemed to pick up on all the needed details in order to make the dinner as good an experience as it can be. For example, as soon as we arrived and the waitress saw flowers in my hand (cut ones), she automatically brought a vase where to put them in, with no questions asked and put it in the middle of the table, filled with water.
They also have a great menu and attitude for kids (offered to bring paper and pencils, when the kid looked a bit bored and treated him like a grown-up when the food was ordered, also gave the same menu as for the grown-ups, just with an additional page added in the beginning). (And the cost for the food for little ones is very adequate to what they actually eat).
The food itself was very good and the size/value ratio seemed ok.

Great seasonal food from a menu that gets refreshed fairly often — I have even been asked to try out and give feedback for a new dish they are only planning on putting on the menu. The dishes are not expensive (especially compared to the quality) and the staff is friendly and easygoing as well regarding any requests or suggestions.
If you're in the neighborhood, I strongly recommend to visit Jāņoga. Workday evenings are a slow time and you should be able to enjoy the food without any rush whatsoever, but don't be discouraged if there is a crowd in, as long as you can find a table to sit down at.response / report this review -

Ēstuve atrodas ērtā vietā netālu no centra ar plašām auto novietošanas iespējām abās ielas pusēs. Pusvienos dienā āra terasē vietu nebija, bet iekšā bija brīvi galdiņi. Temperatūra karstā dienā iekšpusē bija komfortabla. Apkalpošana pie galdiņa ātra un laipna. Dienas piedāvājums ļoti garšīgs. Pirmajā aukstā zupa tāda veselīga ar daudz sarīvētiem dārzeņiem un salātlapām. Otrajā vistas šķinķīša karbonāde ar rīsiem, brokoļiem un gaileņu mērci. Šķinķītis varēja būt bez ādas, bet tas ir gaumes jautājums. Ēdiens nav pārsālīts vai kā citādi "uzlabots". Brokolis garšo pēc brokoļa un gailene pēc gailenes. Desertā saldējuma kokteilis tējas krūzē. Tas mazliet izbrīna, bet garšo perfekti un pat iepatīkas to baudīt ar īsu salmiņu no krūzes. Par trīs ēdieniem samaksāju vien 5€. Pēc rēķina apmaksas tieku vēl pie saldām jāņogām! Eju prom dikti apmierināts un novēlu šai vietai plaukt un zelt.
